Management position to help bring sciencefiction.com to the forefront as a major web site. As a manager duties include daily troubleshooting, suggestions, and programming. Aspects include online Greeting cards, Classified ads, Counters, Streaming video for daily onsite behind the scenes previews, user polls, online store, bulk email for newsletters, online chats etc using Palace software. Increasing hits, and traffic analysis. Web page loading time optimization, etc.
Infinity Medical & Dental Billing Software 5.0
Management position over 2 Delphi programmers. Project is a complete rewrite of the DOS version of the application. This is a commercial level product that will be packaged and sold by the sales office. The application has 70 + reports, can send Electronic claims in most states, and will adjust the claims accordingly for each state. It was originally written for an end user but may target a larger audience in the future.
EFT (Electronic Fund Transfers)
Major project. Lead programmer for a Processing Gateway (one other programmer under contract). Most of the project is written in MS Access for easy customization with the data being stored on Microsoft SQL server 7.0. The intent is to replace the existing processing program, and become a processor for the sales offices, and outside vendors, uses NACHA/AFT send files and SANWA bank. Over 150 tables.
This is a massive program and is so solid that you can turn off the machine in the middle of processing for the day and when you turn it back on it will recover and rollback all the data, then proceed to pick up where it left off.
Networking/OS
Various Cisco Routers from the 700 to 7000 series, PIX firewall configuration, CCNA Cisco certified, wiring, network planning, RIP to OSPF routing protocols, ISDN, DSL, ATM, Frame Relay, IPV6, etc. Novell 3.11,3.12, 4.1,PathWorks, Solaris, SunOS, Linux, X-Windows, Xview, Windows 3.11, WFWG, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 3.5-5.0b, Macs, Cisco Routers, PIX Firewalls, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, Cobalt Servers.
Managed, installed, and updated unix servers which served to host several websites. Managed a membership based web service which required passwords, credit card processing, negative databases for bad credit cards, and credit card authorizations and captures. Used different processors as our needs changed, and wrote many many programs to handle processing, customer service and maintenance.
